The above paragraph I mentioned about 2 week ago. At same class now I'm going to tell you about last week"s activity. Last week the activity not much because Miss disappointed because we did not finish the blog 2 week ago. So Miss just say to the male group that can not show their blog to Miss Ung Ean Na 3 week ago and the group who volunteer to show their blog. Our class only lasts for 20 minutes.

We Play a New Game ! Syahirah's 19/7/2018

On July 19, our first period of Fundamentals of Tourism and Hospitality class started as usual at 9.00 a.m. until 11.00 a.m at Bilik Kuliah 2. On that day we learn about History of Tourism and Hospitality Industry.Next for second period, we go to TECC at CDEC and open our cidos portal and play an online game called Cram game, it is about Terminologies in Tourism and Hospitality.After that we also play kahoot like other past weeks but this time it is about History of Tourism for this time I got 5th place ! yeahh Better than nothing right ? It's okay actually if you don't get higher place as long as you having some fun and get more knowledge about the Tourism Industry .Next,we then being called group by group to the front to explain about our blog.We are the first group to explain about this blog.

Hi everybody! Come back with me,Amira and today I would like to share about what was happen to my last week class of Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality. Did you remember the purpose we create this blog are to share what are my classmate's and I studying in our class. If my previous post,I tell you about what have I learn in Chapter 1. But today,I just want to share that my lecturer,Miss Anna asked my class to present our previous blog. Then,after we present our blog one by one,we ended our class with Kahoot! Last not least,I just want to share to all of you about benefits that we get by playing Kahoot! First,we can study and at the same time we also can have fun. Secondly,we can gain our knowledge with the simple way but still we can remember the subject. And the last one,we also can know each other very well. That all for today,bye!

Raya Celebration & Kahoot time Syahirah's 12.7.18

On Thursday 12 July 2018 from 8.00 a.m. until 11 a.m. our Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan had Raya celebration, so we have no class on the first period, most of us busy eating that day hehehe. As for me I become one of the 'Sukarelawan' to help the food provider there, my shift was at 8.00 a.m. until 11.00 a.m. only.Our second period start at 1.00 p.m. at TECC Room at CDEC, that day we played Web game called Kahoot it's so fun to play, we play about two rounds and I got 1st place on the second round YEAYYY ! Happy me :) We also open an apps called Padlet and share photos of places we love about travel

Hi and Hello everyone ! My name is Nur Afifah Syahirah Binti Md Anwar and I will be sharing about our First Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality class with Miss Ung Ean Na on 5 July 2018 in Bilik Kuliah 2 in Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan. On our first class,Miss Na has Introduced to us about our Course Outline, in this subject we will be having about 7 chapters in total.On that day we also learned about Chapter 1 which is Introduction to Tourism.For that subject we have 3 hours of class in that day,so we split it into 2 periods, the first period was at 9.00 a.m. until 11.15 a.m. while the second period was at 1.15 p.m. until 2.15 p.m, for the second period Miss Na ask us to go to TECC room at CDEC and show us about that room.

CHAPTER 1.
  Hi everyone I Nordiana binti Khayat would like to share about our Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality on Thursday,5 July 2018. We DUP1A class study about Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality with our lecturer Miss Ung Ean Na. In chapter 1,we learn what is tourism, Tourism comprises the activites of persons travelling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure, business and other purpose, We also know what is the Tourism Industry.

Tourism Industry Sectors:
-Hospitality.
-travel operations.
-visitor service.

We know what the relationship between Tourism and Hospitality Industry and many more in Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality.

I love Travel !

In our second class,I also enjoyed the online game that I called it Kahoot! Then, we continued our class with online activity. The activity name is 'I Love Travel' where is we were asked by our lecture to share our favourite places around the world.

First Class Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality

Hello everyone! Today I Nurul Amira want to share about what I learned about Fundamental of Tourism and Hospitality in chapter 1. In this chapter,I learned about what is tourism! The definition of tourism is the temporary,short term travel of non-residents along transit routes to and from a destinations. Tourism comprise the activities of persons travelling to and stayingin place outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for other purposes.I also learned about tourism industry sectors  and hospitality industry sectors. And the last one that I learned in this chapter is 5 characteristics of tourism and hospitality industry.

5 characteristics of tourism and hospitality industry are:
-perishable
-intangibility
-inseparability
-changeability
-variability


Then,in chapter 2,I learned about the concept of tourists. There are 19 thing that I must know about tourists concept. Tourist also known as traveller,visitor,excursionis and backpacker. Tourist guide,travel agent,outbound tourist,inbound tourist ,domestic tourist and international tourist are also include in tourist concept. Trip,visit,recreation,leisure time ,guest,lodging,food and beverage,housekeeping and culinary are in tourist concept too.
